We are recruiting an Accountant for a large construction firm in Central Oregon. Recent Construction or Cost Accounting experience will be prioritized. Interested candidates without industry specific experience will be considered and the training path will start in Accounts Payable and Payroll, which are the primary GL drivers for financial statements in the Construction industry.
Responsibilities- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Assist with the audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
- 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
