• Prepares, analyzes and reviews recurring monthly journal entries, supporting schedules and ad hoc requests for both the Club and Community HOA.
• Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations and account variance analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial data across multiple business units.
• Prepares and submits monthly financial statements and supporting schedules that identify actual, budget, variance and over/under based on the plan.
• Implements and adheres to policies and procedures for the Accounting function, including compliance of all company accounting standards.
• Recommends to management the implementation of policies, procedures, processes and controls based on continual analysis of current accounting processes.
• Interact with internal and external customers using both verbal and written communication skills to discuss accounting processes or issues.
• Provide support to Controller function related to various other accounting projects.
• Provide support to the management team for onboarding new employees.
• Performs other duties as required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in accounting is required. A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in accounting is required.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)

• Must have very good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to successfully collaborate with other teams.
• Strong organization and decision-making abilities.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience required, with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
