Overview

Pacific Retirement Services, a leader in the housing industry (primarily senior living), is seeking a full‑time Clerical Maintenance Assistant to join our talented and hardworking Community Housing team at Pilot Butte Retirement Community based in Bend, Oregon.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday

The Clerical Maintenance Assistant will provide on‑site clerical and maintenance assistance to the front‑line office and maintenance staff for the community. To be successful in this position you should be mechanically inclined and customer service oriented. The candidate must maintain a clean facility, repair interior and exterior needs of the building, respond to work orders and assist the office staff by maintaining resident relations and program integrity.

The candidate must have computer skills and the ability to work well under pressure. A valid driver’s license and insurability under our corporate insurance carrier is required, along with passing a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.

This position must have a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification, trained and certified within 15 months of hire, or actively pursuing the certification. If you are not COS certified within 15 months, PRS and the communities reserve the right to end employment unless the quality of work displayed justifies continued education and training toward the certification. One to three years’ experience in clerical office work, maintenance, repair, facility services or a related field is preferred.

Compensation

Hourly: $18.00 – $18.50, DOE
