ResponsibilitiesJob duties include selling parts to customers and vendors via phone, Internet, and in person; maintaining inventory records; assisting customers and technicians with parts needs and obtaining parts information; creating invoices; processing orders, returns, and warranties; and receiving parts from delivery. You will work closely with customers and technicians, and must communicate effectively, make recommendations, and prioritize items.
RequirementsThis position is not entry‑level and requires automotive parts experience, inventory control, and knowledge of electronic parts catalogues. Experience with manufacturer‑specific catalogues is preferred.
Candidates must be proficient with parts ordering software, electronic catalogues, inventory management systems, and strong communication skills. Work is performed indoors, primarily using computers and phone systems; standing/walking up to 30% of the shift is required, and frequent lifting of 20 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) is needed.
