Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Automotive Technician role based in Bend, OR. The automotive technician will perform routine maintenance and inspections, including oil changes, fluid services, tire rotations, and brake checks on European vehicles. This role will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, using advanced diagnostic tools and following manufacturer specifications. The technician will service and repair suspension and steering systems, perform test drives to verify concerns and repairs, and document all work performed in a clear and accurate manner.

Daily responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and safe workspace, collaborating with service advisors and teammates, and communicating clearly with the team to ensure high‑quality, efficient service.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in vehicle maintenance and repair for European vehicles.
  • Hands‑on experience performing oil changes and routine service inspections.
  • Proficiency in automotive repair, including diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience working with suspension components, alignment concerns, and ride/handling diagnostics.
  • Professional experience as an automotive technician, preferably with European brands.
  • Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment, service information systems, and OEM specifications.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures, manage time effectively, and handle multiple work orders efficiently.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a client‑focused mindset.
  • Automotive technical training, ASE certifications, or manufacturer training are preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
