ResponsibilitiesDrive a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to in-town locations to perform job duties at customer locations.
- Perform basic maintenance on service vehicles and Ford recalls (inspecting, replenishing, draining, and filling fluids and lubricants, balancing and rotating tires, performing vehicle inspections, completing basic brake repairs, vehicle diagnostics, and software updates).
- Document all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall standards.
- Provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service at every stop.
Work is performed outdoors. Tool usage includes mechanic’s hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force. Standing and walking will be required for entire shift. Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on. Lifting as well as pushing and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally required.
QualificationsMust have ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
Valid driver license and good driving record required.
Previous vehicle maintenance experience required.
