Position: Demand Planning Manager, Hydro Flask

Department: Supply Chain

Work Location: Bend, OR (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Hybrid

Schedule:

In‑office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday, with option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Any updates to this model will be communicated in advance.

What you will be doing: The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for crafting, maintaining, and communicating the product‑driven financial plans for Hydro Flask’s global business. The role requires strong partnership with Supply, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams, and focuses primarily on overseeing all aspects of North America demand planning while contributing to the global demand strategy.

North America Demand Planning
  • Creates and manages all demand planning tools resulting in SKU and product group plans.
  • Supervises Demand Planners for all Customer Groups.
  • Sets safety stock targets and creates inventory buy signals that feed the supply planning process.
  • Analyzes forecast error and uses it as input to the demand planning process and demand review.
  • Aligns activities to best practices in the department.
Global Demand Planning
  • Supervises a Demand Planner responsible for Rest‑of‑World demand planning via the HCMC 3PL.
  • Liaises with Hydro Flask Europe on demand planning to align strategy.
  • Leads global demand review.
New Product Introductions and Analysis
  • Manages timing of new product launches with Sales and Product Lifecycle Management.
  • Manages new product forecasts globally and scales to factory ramp capacity.
General Analytics
  • Creates seasonal forecasts that feed capacity and financial plans.
  • Performs lost‑sales analysis to project future demand accurately.
  • Performs inventory analysis and projections.
  • Supports other Helen of Troy Home and Outdoor brands.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required, with strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Demand Planning, Analysis, ERP Systems, Planning Software, and Microsoft Office.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS college degree.
  • 2+ years of Demand Planning experience with a consumer products company.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Oracle, o9, Power BI.
  • Supply Planning, IBP, S&OP experience and knowledge.
  • Passion for the outdoor industry.
