The Oxford Collection Sedona - Job Site Superintendent position is based in Sedona, Arizona. Relocation is required, and the superintendent must be on-site in Sedona full‑time during the construction phase.

- Preconstruction:
Participate in schedule development, review construction documents, assist the Project Management team with budgets and bidding, coordinate with local building officials, and assemble subcontractor bid lists. - Supervision:
Control costs, manage subcontractors and craft workers, communicate expectations on scheduling, budgeting, policies, procedures, construction methods, and safety; monitor inspections and permits; manage inventory; track requests for information; and coordinate site activities from groundbreaking to furnishing delivery and owner training. - Safety &
Risk Management:
Lead on‑site safety initiatives, ensuring a safe work environment through Oxford Suite’s risk management and training programs; schedule and conduct Cal/OSHA preconstruction meetings, including height permits. - Quality Control:
Work with the Project Manager, Owner, Architect, and Interior Designer to develop interior and exterior details, material selections, and onsite QA/QC; coordinate mockups and submittals; create the Owner punch list; and conduct walkthroughs until completion. - Project Financial:
Assist in developing the project budget with the Development Manager; participate in pre‑bid and post‑bid meetings; manage and monitor expenses, including subcontractor change–order pricing, to ensure the project meets budget and purchasing goals. - Customer & Community Relations:
Build effective relationships with suppliers, local subcontractors, the Owner, and the final client; actively participate in community, industry, and client events.
- Proven track record of successful commercial construction projects with an emphasis in hospitality.
- 10+ years of experience preferred; scope and complexity may vary.
- Credentials indicating previous safety certifications and training.
- Proficiency with computers (email, Microsoft Word, Excel) and scheduling programs such as Microsoft Project or Primavera Contractor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation; a company truck will be provided for a quality superintendent.
- Flexible schedule to ensure project completion within the established timeline; weekend and after‑hours work may be required.
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
- All offers are contingent on pre‑employment screening.
- Perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently.
- Bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, climb, and walk on uneven surfaces frequently.
- Walk, climb ladders, and work outside in various weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat).
- Climb stairs both inside and outside and frequently lift 50 lbs.; sometimes exert up to 20 lbs. of force to push, pull, carry, lift or otherwise move objects.
