Overview
As a Lead Cashier, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and engaging environment for our customers at the front end. You will oversee cashier and front-end staff, ensuring a delightful experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Guide and support cashier personnel in performing their duties with safety, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Maintain and complete the daily bathroom check log by all team members.
- Collaborate with management on disciplinary matters and operational improvements.
- Prepare the front desk and café for a successful opening each day.
- Educate new customers on available race package options, pricing, and the overall experience flow.
- Ensure smooth operations while providing outstanding customer service.
- Monitor transactions in both the café and front counter, enforcing all relevant policies and procedures.
- Act promptly in emergency situations as they arise.
- Keep the front desk, lobby, and café areas clean and safe for all customers.
- Carry out specific cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned by management.
- Verify that closing duties are completed to secure the front desk and café, preparing for the next day.
- Ensure compliance with discount, coupon, and gift card procedures, ensuring they are updated and followed accurately.
- Assist in training new staff members, providing guidance and support.
- Help maintain the organization of the retail and concessions areas to enhance customer experience.
High school diploma or GED; one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
Reasoning AbilitiesMust have the ability to understand and follow detailed instructions. Capability to tackle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Communication SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate before groups and respond to customer inquiries.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition and subtraction with two-digit numbers.
