Role Description

The Community Experience Associate is a part-time, on-site role based at The Haven Coworking in Bend, OR. This role is responsible for welcoming members and guests, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth daily experience in the space. Day-to-day tasks include managing front desk operations, maintaining a tidy and functional environment, supporting event setup and breakdown, and assisting with member communications. The Community Experience Associate helps coordinate bookings for meeting spaces, gathers feedback from members, and collaborates with the team to improve community offerings and services.

This role actively contributes to a friendly, inclusive atmosphere that reflects The Haven’s mission and values.

Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to create a welcoming, professional environment for members and guests.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle front desk operations, space coordination, and event support efficiently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with members, responding to inquiries, and supporting internal communications.
  • Comfort with basic office technology and coworking tools (e.g., scheduling systems, email, messaging platforms, and point-of-sale systems).
  • Ability to work on-site in Bend, OR, including some evening or weekend hours as needed for events and community programming.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusivity and community-building, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and members.
  • Previous experience in coworking, hospitality, retail, or community-focused roles is preferred but not required.
