Schedule: Mon-Thu: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Fri: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Position Summary
Pride Staff is seeking a reliable, creative, and customer-facing Vinyl Graphics Designer for a local sign and vehicle wrap shop. This role combines front-office client consultation with hands-on digital design and production. You will be the face of the shop-greeting customers, collaborating on design concepts, utilizing industry-standard software, and running large-format production machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients at the front desk, and maintain a close, consultative design conversation to bring their vision to life.
- Develop and adjust high-quality layouts for vehicles and signage using internal systems and specialized software.
- Set up, run, and maintain large-format Epson printers and laser engraving equipment.
- Assist with basic order entry/billing, measure materials accurately, and ensure jobs are prepped perfectly for the installation team.
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sign Lab is preferred.
- Experience with CAD software and the ability to make rapid design adjustments based on client feedback or physical dimensions.
- Proficient with precise physical tools like a tape measure; experience with laser engravers is highly valued.
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs. occasionally and stay active in a production shop environment.
