Job SummaryJoin the Vet Cadets teaching team and make a lasting impact by providing a nurturing, educational foundation for the children of veterinary professionals. As a Toddler Teacher, you play a vital role in early childhood development, fostering a safe, engaging environment where young learners thrive. Each day you inspire curiosity, encourage growth, and support a child’s academic, social, and personal milestones during this crucial stage of brain development.

- Inspire curiosity, encourage growth, and support a child’s academic, social, and personal milestones during this crucial stage of brain development.
- Apply best practices in early education and cultivate a space where every child can explore, discover, and grow.
- Completion of 20 credits (semester system) or 30 credits (quarter system) of training at a college or university in early childhood education and child development.
- A one‑year state or nationally recognized credential related to infant and toddler care.
- At least one year of qualifying teaching experience, with at least one year as a teacher, in a Certified Child Care Center or comparable group care program, in the care of infants and/or toddlers.
- Completion of 10 credits (semester system) or 15 credits (quarter system) of training at a college or university in early childhood education or child development, combined with at least six months of qualifying teaching experience in a Certified Child Care Center or comparable group care program and in the care of infants and/or toddlers.
- Documentation of attaining at least step 6 in the Oregon Registry.
