The Business Program at OSU‑Cascades invites applications for one or more fixed‑term, non‑tenure‑track full/part‑time Instructor positions to teach on a term‑by‑term basis for the 2025‑2026 academic year and Fall Term 2026. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Dean of Academic Affairs. Instructors may be needed to teach on campus undergraduate courses in General Business Administration and Management.
If hired on a term appointment the anticipated start dates are September 16 2025, December 16 2025, March 16 2026, or September 16 2026.
- Teach courses term‑by‑term in General Business Administration and Management; administer course assessment processes and continuously improve teaching effectiveness.
- Participate in advising and mentoring students, be available for office hours, complete record‑keeping and minor administrative tasks.
Required:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
Preferred:
- Ph.D. or terminal degree in one of the fields listed.
- Teaching experience at the college or university level, a strong commitment to undergraduate education and equity, and service to students.
- Demonstrated ability to design, teach and assess courses that support inclusive learning principles and promote equitable teaching practices.
Work schedule may vary depending on student needs and engagement in campus and/or program activities.
