At The PAC, we empower kids to take the lead in their day, allowing them to choose activities that spark their interest and imagination! Whether they’re diving into group games, exploring their creativity through art projects, honing their skills at the skatepark, or engaging in friendly competition with board games, table tennis, and foosball, there's never a dull moment. We also provide exciting opportunities for off-campus field trips that encourage exploration and adventure.

We are on the lookout for internally motivated individuals who are passionate about nurturing a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment for kids aged 9-12. Together, let's inspire the next generation to discover their passions and develop lasting friendships!
This is a 5 day, Monday through Friday, camp that operates in shifts between 7:15am-5:45pm. Staff must be at least 18 years old.

Mandatory Training Dates (The PAC)
  • June 1, 10am - 4:30pm
  • June 5, 9am - 12pm
  • June 6, 9am - 4pm
  • June 8, 9am - 1pm
  • June 9, 9am - 1pm
  • June 12, 9am - 1pm
  • June 15, 9am - 11:30am or 1:30-3:30pm (Site Set Up)
Operation Recreation

At Operation Recreation, we believe that every camper deserves a summer filled with unforgettable memories and joyous experiences. As a camp staff for our young campers, you have the unique opportunity to spark their imagination and encourage them to embrace their creativity through fun arts and crafts, adventurous activities, field trips, and silly songs. We’re seeking passionate staff who are not afraid to be a little silly and goofy—those who can let their guard down and create a vibrant atmosphere where campers feel free to express themselves in possibly their first camp experience.

Your willingness to embrace fun and embody the spirit of adventure will make a remarkable impact on each camper’s journey. This camp also includes 4 field trips a week to take advantage of the incredible outdoor recreation experiences Bend has to offer.
This is a 5 day, Monday through Friday, camp that operates in shifts between 7:15am-5:45pm.

A day in the life
  • Instructs classes or leads recreation activities ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Creates daily plans for classes and activities within established guidelines and curriculum.
  • Oversees the safety, comfort and progress of participants.
  • Adapts activities as needed to meet the abilities and needs of individuals.
  • Prepares equipment, materials and supplies required for conducting activities.
  • Sets up, takes downs and cleans-up after class as required.
  • Completes required documentation such as behavior and incident reports.
  • Communicates effectively with the public including providing accurate information related to work assignment and responding to patron and parent questions and concerns.
  • Responds to accidents and incidents according to procedure.
  • Acts as a Mandatory Reporter; reports incidents of child abuse/neglect.
Requirements What we’re looking for Education, Experience, and Training
  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age; AND
  • Currently attending high school; AND
  • Some previous work, training/certification or volunteer experience related to position; OR
  • Any satisfactory combination of education, experience and training
License and Certifications
  • Some positions may require possession of a driver's license and have 3 years of an acceptable driving history as defined by district driving policy.
  • Some positions may require possession of CPR/First Aid certification to be provided through on-the-job training.
  • Some positions may require certification related to assigned job to be provided through on-the-job training.
