95% Teaching:
Administer and teach Physics courses term-by-term. May teach on-campus undergraduate courses in closely related fields such as Engineering. Complete course assessment processes and continuously improve teaching effectiveness.
5% Advising:
Participate in advising and mentoring students, be available for office hours, and perform minor administrative tasks including record-keeping.
Required:
- Master’s degree in Physics or a related field.
Preferred:
- PhD or terminal degree in Physics or a related field.
- Teaching experience at the college or university level, strong commitment to undergraduate education and equity, service to students.
- 3+ years experience in a professional/consulting role specializing in applied Physics.
Work schedule may vary depending on student needs and campus/program activities.
