The College of Science Program at OSU – Cascades invites applications for one or more fixed‑term, non‑tenure‑track full/part‑time Instructor positions to teach at the undergraduate level in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Environmental Sciences on a term‑by‑term basis for the 2025‑2026 academic year and Fall Term 2026. The incumbent will deliver instruction, assess student learning, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and teach course(s) term‑by‑term in Chemistry and related disciplines.
- Complete course assessment processes and continuously improve teaching effectiveness.
- Participate in advising and mentoring students, be available for office hours, and complete record‑keeping and minor administrative tasks.
Required:
Master’s degree in Chemistry.
- PhD or terminal degree in Chemistry or a closely related field (preferred).
- Three or more years of professional or consulting experience specializing in applied Chemistry.
- College or university level teaching experience.
- Demonstrated ability to design, teach, and assess courses that support inclusive learning principles.
