OSU Cascades invites applications for four part-time (0.50 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term Faculty Research Assistant:
Methods to Optimize Contextualized Science Instruction (MOCSI) positions.
Reappointment is at the discretion of the Department Head.
This position is located in Bend, Oregon.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
- Prepare and present publications and conference reports
- Participate in recruiting and communicating with project participants
- Collaborate with team members and partners on MOSCI research
Required Qualifications
- Earned research-based masters in a social science field
- Two years experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative data
- Established peer-reviewed publication record
- Experience in science education research
- Earned doctorate degree(s) in a social science field
- Earned degree in science education
- K-12 classroom experience
Work schedule will be variable throughout the project and up to 20 hours per week. Researchers will set a schedule with the PI each month. Some work may be remote.
Salary Range$24.00-$31.25
