Description Position Overview
We are excited to invite a Structural Design Engineer to our dynamic team, where you will be instrumental in crafting innovative design solutions. This role allows you to engage with a diverse array of projects, utilizing your expertise in various structural systems while playing an active part in all stages of design and construction. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure exceptional, efficient, and groundbreaking outcomes for our clients.
SalaryInformation
The expected salary range for this role is $
83,000 to $
97,000 per year.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (or eligibility for licensure by comity)
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Deep understanding of Structural Systems and Design Processes
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Effective time management capabilities

Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate expertise in wood, timber, steel, concrete, and masonry design, alongside structural detailing
- Take charge of all Structural Engineering components of projects
- Work independently while supervising team members in developing Construction Documents (Plans and Specifications)
- Conduct structural engineering analysis and design calculation development
- Prepare comprehensive engineering studies and reports
- Generate construction cost estimates and evaluate against industry standards
- Oversee structural project requirements including Scope, Budget, and Time
- Draft structural-oriented fee proposals and contracts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and BIM staff

Additional Information* Actual salary is determined based on experience, licensure, location, proficiency level, and other job-related factors. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
