At Jacobs, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable water infrastructure solutions while helping communities protect and manage their natural resources.

We're seeking a Water/Wastewater Conveyance Project Manager to lead the delivery of water and wastewater conveyance and storage projects for municipal, private, state, Tribal, irrigation district, and Federal clients throughout the Northwest region, primarily in eastern Washington, eastern Oregon, and Idaho.

In this seller-doer role, you'll lead teams through project planning, design, construction, and closeout while managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations. You'll help develop practical technical solutions, mentor project staff, build lasting client relationships, and support the continued growth of Jacobs' water business in the region.

We'll expect you to:

-    Serve as Project Manager and/or Design Manager for multiple concurrent water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

-    Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning and design of conveyance systems, including pipelines, pump stations, open channels, storage facilities, and related civil infrastructure.

-    Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, QA/QC processes, and contractual commitments to meet client expectations and Jacobs' project delivery requirements.

-    Manage project financial performance, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, risks, and scope changes, while implementing corrective actions when needed.

-    Lead the preparation and review of plans, specifications, estimates, technical reports, and proposals.

-    Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, permitting authorities, utilities, and other stakeholders.

-    Lead and mentor project staff while supporting the development of future technical and project leaders.

-    Support business development efforts through client engagement, pursuit strategy development, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations.

-    Collaborate with technical and sales teams to strengthen client relationships, win new work, and expand Jacobs' presence across the regional water market.

-    Bachelor's degree in Civil, Agricultural, Mechanical, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.

-    Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Candidates not currently licensed in Washington must be able to obtain registration within one year of hire.

-    10+ years of relevant engineering experience, including demonstrated project management experience.

-    Experience in Design Management, Assistant Project Management, and/or Project Management with responsibility for project delivery leadership and oversight.

-    Ability to lead the design and preparation of plans, specifications, technical reports, and proposals.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

-    Master's degree in a related engineering discipline.

-    Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on medium to large water resources projects.

-    Experience serving municipal, state, Federal, Tribal, irrigation district, and private-sector clients.
