Location: Bend, Oregon (in-office)

Premier Mortgage Resources (PMR) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to join our team! Whether you're new to the mortgage industry or an experienced processor looking for the next step, this is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in lending. This role will support our Loan Officers and clients throughout the loan process, from gathering documentation to ensuring smooth and efficient loan closings.
We are looking for someone who is coachable, highly organized, and eager to learn. If you have experience processing FHA, VA, USDA, State Bond, and Conventional loans—or are excited to develop those skills—this could be the perfect fit for you.
- Assist Loan Officers with loan applications, documentation, and compliance.
- Process FHA, VA, USDA, State Bond, and Conventional loans.
- Communicate with borrowers, underwriters, and third-party vendors.
- Verify loan information and review DU/LP findings.
- Order and track necessary loan documents (title, appraisal, insurance, etc.).
- Clear underwriting conditions and ensure timely closings.
- Maintain pipeline management and keep files moving efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and borrower support.
- Stay up to date on industry guidelines and regulations.
- Support loan officers with borrower qualifying scenarios.
- Minimum 2 years in the mortgage industry
- Ability to get licensed through NMLS
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple files.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Coachable mindset—we provide the training, but you must be open to learning!
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with Byte is preferred but not required.
