Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional client experience by adhering to the bank’s Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.
- Acquire new and expand existing relationships with clients by asking questions to identify needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring the client to the appropriate business partners within the Bank when needed.
- Uncover and originate consumer lending and some small business lending opportunities.
- Provide excellent client service by providing immediate acknowledgement, identifying, and offering appropriate products and services, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Engage clients and prospects in client financial review(s) and business financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover additional financial needs.
- Make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients.
- Maintain direct contact with external and internal clients and consistently provide proactive solutions and problem resolution in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
- Open consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients.
- Originate consumer loans independently and accurately.
- Originate business loans independently or with minimal assistance.
- Act as a resource to the teller by contributing to the team environment and filling in on teller functions (including cash transactions) when needed.
- Support the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products and services to the appropriate internal business partners.
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- One year of teller or other banking experience, required.
- In-depth knowledge of consumer products and services.
- Demonstrated proficiency in consumer lending.
- Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.
- Proficiency in expanding the client relationship with emphasis on creating new relationships and expanding existing relationships utilizing personal and business rapport with customers.
- Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) within 60 days, required.
The pay range for this role is $19.00 – $23.00 per hour. The exact pay rate for a selected candidate is determined by a variety of non‑discriminatory factors, including job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
