Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacy
The Warm Springs Service Unit (WSSU) requires contracted pharmacist services to support its Pharmacy program. Current staffing levels are insufficient to maintain the continuity of patient care. These services are essential for routine pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, patient counseling, and ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care. This action is necessary to maintain clinical operations, minimize service interruptions, and protect patient safety.
Location:
Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center, 1270 Kot-Num Road, Warm Springs, OR 97761.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Core
Responsibilities include:
Medication dispensing and verification.
Clinical pharmacy functions and patient counseling.
Provision of immunizations.
Offering blood pressure screenings in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Maintaining compliance with Indian Health Service (IHS) and facility policies.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program or school.
Licensure:
Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
Certification: BLS accredited by the American Heart Association
Citizenship:
Must be US Citizen
