Patient Services Representative; Dental

Job Description

The Patient Services Representative supports clinic operations by providing timely and quality customer service over the phone and in-person. Responsibilities include greeting, registering, and scheduling patients accurately and promptly; creating patient records; providing documentation to patients; and collecting and applying patient payments.

• Accurately check patients in and out for all appointments and update patient records.
• Process sliding scale applications and calculate income for submission to the supervisor.
• Schedule patients according to established provider schedules and clinic protocols.
• Answer phone calls and inquiries, providing timely and accurate customer service.

Knowledge of standard office policies and procedures; strong math skills; familiarity with standard office machines (copier, fax, shredder, multi-line telephone, printers, etc.); and proficiency with Microsoft Office software products preferred. Fluency in Spanish preferred.
