American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist for a pediatric echo lab position requiring ARDMS certification and at least 1 year of experience, with Epic proficiency required.

• Inpatient and outpatient echo lab serving a neonate through geriatric patient population with a pediatric focus
• Daily caseload of approximately 10 studies
• Primary equipment includes Philips Epiq ultrasound machines and Merge PACS
• Epic EMR experience is required
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Rotating weekend coverage approximately every 4th weekend with some flexibility
• On-call required on a rotating basis covering days and some weekends (0730–0700)
• No floating within the facility or to sister facilities

• Minimum of 1 year of cardiac sonography / echo tech experience
• Active ARDMS certification required, including RDCS (PE)
• Current BLS required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• First‑time travelers will be considered for this position
• Perform echo cardiographic studies across a broad patient population ranging from neonates to geriatric patients
• Pending state license acceptance is considered on a case‑by‑case basis
• RTO is limited to 7 total days within the 13‑week assignment; all time‑off requests must be submitted upfront
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• A full 7‑year work history with all gaps explained is required
