Travel Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking an experienced Pediatric Echocardiography Technologist for a travel assignment in Bend, Oregon.

We are looking for an Echo Tech with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The right candidate will be responsible for operating the cardiac ultrasound machine, ensuring accurate image acquisition, and communicating findings to physicians.

• Educate patients and/or patient’s family regarding procedures performed
• Demonstrate competence in performance of echo cardiographic studies
• Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to physician and benchmark standards
• Perform quality Trans‑esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations
• Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
• Perform all related processing required for each completed study
• Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure, and report equipment problems appropriately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric echocardiography
• BLS, ARDMS‑RDCS, or CCI‑RS National Certification
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Total Med Allied Job .
