This position is eligible for an annual bonus of up to $25,000.

• Perform X‑Ray examinations, understanding anatomical positioning, X‑Ray protocols, and equipment to produce optimum results.
• Follow departmental protocol for procedures unless specified otherwise by the Radiologist.
• Produce quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
• Assume accountability for managing delivery of care and patient safety.
• Communicate with attending Radiologist and verify provider orders.
• Obtain and document patient history and relevant information.
• Ensure X‑Ray room cleanliness after exam and procedure.
• Adhere to infection control standards specific to patient care.
• Prioritize and organize work assignments and adjust priorities based on changing situations.
• Prepare patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
• Operate X‑Ray and medical imaging equipment properly and safely.
• Experience with Power injectors preferred.
• Demonstrate awareness of Radiation Safety procedures for self and others.
• Prepare and assist in the administration of contrast materials.

• Demonstrate knowledge and compliance of safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
• Perform daily, monthly, semi‑annual, and annual quality control.
• Use problem‑solving, critical thinking, and priority‑setting skills.
• Show strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attend department meetings.
• Perform other job duties as required.

• 1‑3 years of experience required.
• Graduate from an accredited radiology program.
• Licensed by Oregon State DEP.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS certification required; IV certification preferred.
• Maintain current knowledge of RIS and PACS computer systems.
• Communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Advanced computer skills: email, Microsoft applications, and ability to comprehend and utilize Electronic Medical Record System, RIS and PACS Systems.
