Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Level II Trauma Center experience to work in a hospital radiology/CT setting.

Details
  • Work in a hospital-based CT Tech unit within Radiology/Cardiology
  • Night shift schedule, Wednesday through Tuesday, 4x10 hour shifts
  • Weekday hours 19:45–06:15 and weekend hours 18:45–06:15
  • Work alongside other night shift technologists
  • Utilizes GE CT scanners and PACS imaging system
  • Epic charting system required
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
  • ARRT CT certification and BLS required
  • License required if applicable
  • Level II Trauma Center experience required
  • Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
  • Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Proficiency in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction preferred
  • Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging including contrast studies, colorectal studies, enterography, and intravenous pyelogram
  • Experience with head and neck imaging including carotid, sinus, soft tissue neck, and trauma head studies
  • Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma
  • Experience with chest imaging including contrast studies, cardiac calcium scoring, coronary angiography, and vascular chest studies
  • Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
  • Experience working in adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings
  • Pediatric acute care and outpatient experience may be included in scope
Additional Information
  • Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures including special studies such as biopsies, aspirations, brain perfusion, colonography, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA
  • Support radiology and cardiology imaging needs across multiple patient populations, including trauma cases
  • Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
  • First-time travelers may be considered depending on facility approval
