The Medical Clinic and Billing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bend, OR, responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations and managing the full billing cycle. This position includes supervising front-desk and administrative workflows, coordinating schedules, optimizing patient flow, and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment for all clients. The manager will handle billing processes, including invoicing, claim submission, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding balances, while maintaining accurate records in clinic billing systems.
The role also involves monitoring revenue cycle performance, analyzing financial and operational data, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with clinicians to support efficient, compliant practice operations. The manager will work closely with ownership to maintain regulatory compliance, support staff training, and contribute to the clinic’s mission-driven service model.
- Demonstrated proficiency in billing operations, including Billing Process and Invoicing.
- Hands-on experience working with medical or clinic Billing Systems.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and identify operational trends.
- Experience with Revenue Cycle Management, from patient registration to collections.
- Background in medical clinic or healthcare practice management, preferably in an outpatient or wellness setting.
- Knowledge of insurance billing, coding basics, and payer requirements; familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, staff, and patients.
- Comfort and alignment with inclusive, non-discriminatory care philosophies such as HAES.
- Coursework or degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
