Compensation & Benefits:The Caregiver role pays between $20 - $22 per hour and paid biweekly. As part of the Almost Family Team, you will enjoy a variety of benefits, including paid time off, healthcare benefits, development opportunities, paid training and additional voluntary benefits!
Your Meaningful Impact (Responsibilities):- Empowering Independence: Assist our clients with their daily routines, including gentle help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals.
- Attentive Advocacy: Keep a caring eye on our clients' well-being, documenting their progress and ensuring their health needs are always a top priority.
- Creating a Sanctuary: Foster a warm, safe, and organized living space where clients feel secure and respected.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations
- Home Comforts: Lend a hand with light housekeeping and laundry to keep the home running smoothly.
- Out & About: Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and important errands, helping them stay connected to their community.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A compassionate heart (ideally with one year of experience caring for seniors or those with disabilities).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
