Salary Range: $18.50 To $19.50 Hourly
Job SummaryAs a Breakfast Attendant you will prepare breakfast bar for hotel guests while greeting and servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with brand and/or hotel and sustainability standards. Your goal is to provide Level5 Hospitality and service for each and every guest.
Duties/Responsibilities- Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
- Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary
- Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
- Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
- Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
- Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
- Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, or trays
- Fill beverage and ice dispensers
- Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment
- Performs other related duties as required
- Flexibility with shifts and scheduling
- Must be available weekends and/or holidays
- Must have transportation to and from work
- Must have stellar attendance and punctuality
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Experience working in food service is preferred
- Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team member
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
- Must be able to access and navigate the facility.
- Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
