Job Overview

Provide exceptional cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms and public areas in a hotel, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness to enhance guest satisfaction.

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
• Utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities properly
• Perform thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
• Change and inspect linens and towels daily, following Green Program standards
• Practice safety standards, identify hazards, and report them appropriately
• Respect guests’ property at all times
• Care for equipment responsibly
• Report to work on time, maintain accurate time records, and follow room issuance standards
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co‑workers
• Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Strong time‑management skills
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to move, traverse, and position self to reach corners on floors and high places; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
• Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
