Job Title

Laundry Attendant – Housekeeping Team

As a Laundry Attendant, you will provide laundry services for guest and restaurant linens, keep the laundry area and common areas clean and organized, and support housekeeping and maintenance staff to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding all SPI guest room linens and restaurant/catering linens
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and common areas of the property
• Clean the bathrooms used by housekeeping and maintenance staff daily
• Understand proper utilization of equipment and chemicals and adhere to safety procedures
• Assist housemen and housekeepers as necessary
• Help maintain a safe work environment
• Respond in a friendly, helpful manner to other team members

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Time management skills
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach corners and high places; detect odors; position and navigate carts up to 100 lbs; operate equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
• Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs

Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. May differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
