Senior

Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) – Summit Health, Bend, OR

VillageMD is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Summit Health, Bend, OR location. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days in the office. The HRBP will provide functional guidance and seamless service to managers and market leaders, delivering strategic HR execution across talent acquisition, culture change, DEIB, employee engagement, performance management, talent management, employee relations, organization development and change management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partnership:
    Implement HR strategies aligned with operational goals; act as business advisor; review human‑capital metrics and provide actionable insights; support major business or functional change.
  • Talent Acquisition and Talent Management:
    Identify and plan for future talent needs, elevate workforce diversity, and drive leadership development and succession planning.
  • Performance Management:
    Communicate and support effective performance management processes, and provide tools, resources and training for leaders.
  • Employee Relations:
    Provide proactive, hands‑on support, counsel leaders on policies, analyze trends, and develop proactive strategies to address concerns.
  • HR Best Practices:
    Promote and implement best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness; support compensation practices in compliance with Oregon State Law; manage and deliver New Hire Orientation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a HR Generalist or HRBP role.
  • Strong knowledge of Oregon Equal Pay requirements and employment legislation.
  • Proven experience in healthcare or a related industry preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, high emotional intelligence, communication and influence skills.
  • Superior relationship‑management through active listening, coaching and counseling.
  • Consultative and facilitation skills, creativity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience collaborating in a matrix‑driven environment.
Location

Bend, OR – onsite 3‑5 days per week. The role is hybrid with a minimum of three days in the office.

Paralegal – Starling Physicians

Starling Physicians is seeking a Paralegal to support legal counsel in providing corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives.

Essential Job Functions
  • Monitor legal actions (review, research claims, maintain filings).
  • Assist corporate transactions and governance (prepare agendas, minutes, resolutions, amendments, closing documents).
  • Draft and review employment and professional agreements and other contracts.
  • Negotiate, finalize and administer service contracts, including facilities, office equipment and physician services.
  • Conduct statutory, regulatory and case‑law research.
  • Draft and review a variety of contracts (physician, construction, consultant, service, confidentiality).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • Paralegal certification (required).
  • 0‑1 year related work experience required; 2‑4 years preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Office, legal research tools (Lexis/Westlaw).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base compensation range: $96,000 – $116,000.
  • Exempt position.
  • Health, dental, life, disability, vision, FSA and 401(k) benefits.
  • Travel may be required to satellite office locations.
