Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure projects supporting the development of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility designed for advanced, large-scale production. This role is responsible for delivering IT/OT infrastructure across the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with IT, cybersecurity, and quality standards while collaborating with global, regional, and local stakeholders.
The successful candidate will oversee project planning, infrastructure deployment, budget, timelines, risk management, and cross-functional coordination to enable the successful implementation of smart factory technologies, automated production systems, and scalable infrastructure within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT/OT infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle in accordance with established project management standards.
- Manage the delivery and implementation of IT infrastructure supporting a large-scale manufacturing facility, including production systems, automation, networking, and operational technologies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality Control, Logistics, Manufacturing, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, milestones, deliverables, resources, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure all IT infrastructure is implemented in compliance with IT security, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve project issues and delays.
- Coordinate project activities with other project managers and program leadership when supporting larger initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Lead project governance activities, including steering committee meetings and executive status reporting.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure accurate updates within project management systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project delivery methodologies and infrastructure implementation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure successful design, deployment, and operational readiness of IT and OT infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale IT Infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure projects involving brownfield data center integration or repurposing.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to LAN/WAN networking, Wi-Fi, Network switching, Servers, Firewalls, IT security and Workplace infrastructure.
- Experience managing IT/OT infrastructure within pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of GxP, FDA, and other regulated industry compliance requirements throughout project life cycles.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification required.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural, international project environments.
- Proactive, self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
