Schedule:
M-F, 8 am-5 pm, Remote
Analyze, evaluate, and plan the deployment of data center critical infrastructure, servers, switches, and network capacity, while ensuring accurate asset documentation, physical audits, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Analyze the design, build, and delivery of data center critical infrastructure and network capacity
* Evaluate, plan, and review the deployment of servers and switches within a Data Center environment
* Validate and document hostname, IP address, and subnet details to feed into network configurations and DNS records
* Document hardware deployment details in various automation, inventory, and project management systems
* Work effectively and professionally with various engineering teams across internal organizations and worldwide
* Prepare, perform, coordinate, and remediate physical audits of assets within inventory systems to ensure compliance and accuracy
* Prepare documents and reconcile findings of physical inventory audits
Qualifications:* 2+ years of systems engineering or network engineering experience working in a professional data center-focused technical environment
* Understanding of network concepts including subnetting, IP Address fundamentals, DNS Records, and leaf-spine topology
* Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail and manage completion of assigned tasks with high accuracy and within schedule guidelines
* Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing appropriately
* Familiarity with Data Center construction, operations, and general functionality preferred
* Experience with technical products as they relate to commercial networks preferred
* Experience with PowerDNS, Jira, Nlyte, and Google Suite tools preferred
