Part Time Field Service Technician – Bend, OR

The Hillman Group is looking for a reliable and technically skilled technician to support kiosk operations in the Bend, OR area. This hourly route position focuses on kiosk maintenance, new kiosk installations, and customer service.

• Re‑stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed.
• Perform on‑call repairs or adjustments when a kiosk goes out of order.
• New kiosk installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area.
• Monitor machines daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.
• Keep track of inventory for re‑stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech’s possession.
• Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).
• Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred).
• A minimum of 1‑3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).
• Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical “jargon”.

• Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to always represent Hillman professionally.
• Ability to work weekends when required.

• Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. Clean driving record is mandatory. Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates.
• Must have reliable transportation with automobile insurance (mileage reimbursement).
• Must have a reliable cell phone (reimbursed).

Sales/Service environment varies due to location/store set‑up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel required daily. May have to drive 200 miles daily. Hand/eye coordination required. Function vision and hearing required. Sales/Service medium, lifting up to 30 lbs., occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
