Overview
WSP is seeking a Project Manager to join our expanding Pacific Northwest Environmental Impact Assessment and Permitting service group. The position is remote or hybrid, based out of Seattle, Redmond (WA), Bend, Portland or Boise offices.
Responsibilities- Lead environmental assessment, permitting and compliance services for clients in the power, oil and gas, manufacturing, and data center sectors.
- Manage all stages of a project’s life cycle – Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Closure – ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.
- Manage budgets, scope, schedules, resourcing and client satisfaction while collaborating with technical managers and WSP teams across the U.S., supported by trained project coordinators.
- Use project‑management tools, methods and best practices to plan and manage projects in alignment with stakeholder expectations and business needs.
- Act as the client‑facing representative, exhibiting strong interpersonal skills, direct communication, ethics and integrity.
- Be action‑oriented, resourceful and hold self and others accountable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum of eight years of post‑education work experience.
- Demonstrated experience with project financial tracking and change management related to scopes of work.
- Experience managing the overall delivery of projects, including project planning and controls, financial management, risk management, safety and contract/subcontract management.
- Highly organized, adaptable, emerging leader and calm under pressure.
- Experience managing multi‑discipline teams.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Subject‑matter expertise in routing/siting, field‑survey management, permitting and environmental compliance monitoring for transmission line, pipeline or renewable energy projects.
- At least five years of environmental consulting experience.

CompensationExpected salary (all locations): $98,300 – $175,000. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and to offer additional benefits and other compensation, not related to sex or other protected status.
