Compensation; $60,000 - $72,500 (DOE)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Restoration Project Manager to lead and oversee restoration projects from initial assessment through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction or property restoration and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for managing resources, timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction for residential and/or commercial restoration projects, including water, fire, mold, storm damage, and reconstruction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year (DOE)
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- May require after-hours and weekend availability for emergency responses.
- Manage the full life cycle of restoration projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and final delivery.
- Schedule labor, materials, and subcontractors to meet project timelines and budget requirements.
- Resolve issues and conflicts as they arise to keep projects on track.
- Supervise and support field staff and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Perform final walk-throughs and manage punch-list items to ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Create computer generated work orders for subcontractors.
- Suggest and implement programs to keep work flowing smoothly.
- Conduct site assessments and create scopes of work and cost estimates.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, local building codes, and company policies.
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and address concerns.
- Maintain detailed project documentation including budgets, timelines, and progress reports.
- Keep active written and photo logs.
Required:
- Working knowledge of Xactimate or similar estimating software.
- High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Management: 1-3 years (Required)
- Construction project managment experience: 1-3 years (Required)
- Experience in Restoration projects including (Cabinetry and Trim. Exterior repairs to siding, flashing, roofing and windows. Interior light carpentry repairs, caulking, etc.)
- Must have a very strong work ethic.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-call environment.
- Prefer 3+ years of experience in restoration management, construction management, or project management.
- IICRC certifications (FSRT, AMRT, WRT, HST, etc.) strongly preferred.
