WhatYou’ll Do
As a member of the Paint and Body Shop Team, the Body Shop Technician will be assisting the Paint Technicians in preparing surfaces of aircraft for painting. This is a great job for you if you have some basic skills in auto body work, restoration work, or automotive paint experience and are looking for a career you can grow with. Other expectations may include:
- Surface prep and bodywork parts to be primed
- Blocking primed parts
- Wet lay-up
- Masking parts that are ready to paint
- Completing all necessary paperwork
- Cleaning and maintenance of the body shop and staging area
- Other duties as assigned or required
- Bodywork and/or automotive painting or prep experience is helpful
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work as part of a team with a great attitude
- High standards for following instructions, detailed work, and work quality
- Able to stand for extended periods and move about the facility as needed to support the work
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Self‑motivated, self‑disciplined, organized, and driven individual
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
- Mid‑level up to experienced aerospace manufacturing position
- Room for growth with a path for you to grow into an aerospace career
- Competitive wages starting at $21.63/hr
- Some (minimal) experience required

- Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Three weeks of paid time off. Includes a paid week off between Christmas and New Year
