Thump Coffee – PT Roastery Production Assistant
Help produce coffee that ends up in people’s daily lives.
At Thump, you’ll work alongside a small team that cares deeply about quality, consistency, and serving people well. We’re looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented to help support our daily roastery production and wholesale operations.
The RolePart‑Time Roastery Production Assistant position, 4 days/week. Based out of our Roastery in Bend, Oregon. Shifts are typically 8am‑4pm.
Pay: $20–23/hr depending on experience
What You’ll Do- Package coffee for Thump cafes, wholesale partners, and online orders
- Prepare coffee orders for deliveries and shipments
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient production space
- Support daily production schedules and workflow alongside the roastery team
- Learn Thump’s blends, coffees, and production systems
- Assist with deliveries on an as‑needed basis
- Work with a disciplined, fun crew that works hard for each other
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, physical environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well on a team
- Willingness to receive feedback and continue learning
- Dependability and consistency
- Belief that ordinary things can be used for extraordinary good
- Must be 18 years or older
- $20/hr starting, up to $23/hr

- After 1 year: SIMPLE IRA with up to 3% company match
- Medical insurance for qualifying team members
- Lift and carry boxes and coffee bags up to 70 pounds
- Stand and move for most of your shift
- Work around loud machinery and production equipment
- Push/pull carts, boxes, and production materials
- Bend, reach, clean, organize, and restock throughout the day
- Learn to safely operate equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts
