What

You’ll Do

As a member of the Paint and Body Shop Team, the Body Shop Technician will be assisting the Paint Technicians in preparing surfaces of aircraft for painting. This is a great job for those with some basic skills in auto body work, restoration work, or automotive paint experience and are looking for a career you can grow with. Other expectations may include:

  • Surface prep and bodywork parts to be primed
  • Blocking primed parts
  • Wet lay‑up
  • Masking parts that are ready to paint
  • Completing all necessary paperwork
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the body shop and staging area
  • Other duties as assigned or required
What You Bring To The Team
  • Bodywork and/or automotive painting or prep experience is helpful
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to work as part of a team with a great attitude
  • High standards for following instructions, detailed work, and work quality
  • Able to stand for extended periods and move about the facility as needed to support the work
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Self‑motivated, self‑disciplined, organized, and driven individual
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
What’s In It For You
  • Competitive wages starting at $21.63/hr.
  • Shift Differential:
    Extra $1.00/hr. for Afternoon Shift
  • Afternoon Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30 pm to 1:00 am $22.63/hr. including shift differential
  • Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm $21.63/hr.
