WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a member of the Composite Fabrication Team, the Composite Layup Technician will work alongside team members to construct carbon fiber parts for an award-winning aircraft. This is a great job for you if you are looking for a career you can grow with. Other duties may include:
- Assist in the preparation of molds and forms
- Mark and cut tape, woven material, honeycomb, adhesive, and similar materials
- Lay up composite materials following directions and instructions
- Vacuum bag parts for oven cure
- Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Other duties as assigned or required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work as part of a team to ensure meeting quality standards
- High standards for following instructions, work quality and productivity
- Some lifting may be required
- Able to stand for the majority of a shift in addition to moving about the facility to support the work
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven individual
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Authorized to legally work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship now or in the future
- Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6:45 am to 3:15pm $22.00/hr.
- Afternoon Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2:00 am $23.00/hr. including shift differential
- Two-week paid training class is required: M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (for either shift)
