This is an on‑site, full‑time position for a Saw Operator at our facility in Bend, OR. In this role, you will operate and maintain various saws and equipment while following safety protocols. Responsibilities include accurately measuring, cutting, and preparing wood materials, ensuring a high level of quality in each product. The Saw Operator will collaborate with the team and adhere to project specifications to meet production timelines.
Qualifications- Proficiency in operating saws, including band saws, and other related cutting machinery
- Experience with hand tools and their application in woodworking
- Knowledge and experience operating machines and equipment effectively and safely
- Proficiency in forklift operation is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to measure and cut with accuracy
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively in a dynamic production environment
- Previous experience in a wood fabrication or manufacturing setting is highly desirable
