Material Handler

BMS Summit, NJ (flexible to Warren NJ site)

Sunday – Wednesday (Wednesday off optional), Onsite, 11 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. (staggered day shift hours, OT as required)

• Perform inventory control: cycle counts, material stocking, scrapping.
• Manage material expiry, allocation, and maintain material condition requirements.
• Quantify and maintain materials in the production dispensary.
• Maintain timing according to the production schedule to ensure on‑time logistics.
• Record material handling data in a clear, concise format according to GDPs.
• Work in a team‑based, cross‑functional environment to complete warehousing tasks per shift schedule.
• Work in an environment with blood‑derived components.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Be available to work overtime when business requires.
• Be flexible to work across Summit and Warren NJ sites.
• No direct reports assigned to this role.

• Knowledge of cGMP/FDA regulated industry and general understanding of cGMPs.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Technical writing capability.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Inventory control and/or management experience.
• Background in biology, chemistry, medical or clinical practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with no prior Manufacturing or Operations experience.
• Associate/Medical Technical degree and 1–2 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience.
• High School diploma/GED and 3–4 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year of GMP experience.
• 1 year of ERP experience.

Hourly rate: $28.13 – $34.09 per hour (US). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility.
