Packaging Operator

Role:
Packaging Operator – Swing Shift

Reporting to:
Manager, Packaging

• Follow all safety guidelines and HACCP/Food Safety guidelines.
• Operate equipment in high-speed beverage manufacturing; willingness to cross-train.
• Perform quality checks throughout production runs.
• Conduct daily and weekly cleaning in the department.
• Handle materials (raw materials, chemicals, packaging, finished goods).
• Spot and remove damaged products or supplies.
• Complete production, packaging, and flavor changeovers per schedule.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to keep equipment running efficiently.
• Maintain daily records of downtime and machine operations.
• Maintain a positive attitude to support a healthy and safe workplace.

• High school/GED or higher education.
• Previous manufacturing experience in food and/or beverage preferred.
• Knowledge and passion for craft beer.
• Lift/carry/push/pull cases up to 50 lbs repeatedly over long periods.
• Team-oriented; regular, reliable attendance.
• Able to stand/walk most of the shift; may stoop/crawl/crouch over/under conveyors and equipment.
• May require overtime, nights and/or weekends; may require rotating shifts.
