Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support manufacturing operations through process optimization, new product introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for improving product quality, increasing manufacturing efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting the implementation of new equipment and processes. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineer with experience in manufacturing process development, Lean principles, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Support new product introductions through process development, validation, and documentation.
  • Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, tooling requirements, and operator training materials.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve manufacturing performance.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, design engineering, and suppliers to resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Support equipment selection, implementation, qualification, and process validation activities.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and standard work procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 2-4 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Knowledge of process validation, manufacturing optimization, and new product introduction.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, process capability studies, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process integration.
  • Experience using CAD software and manufacturing‑related engineering tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams.
  • Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
