Lonza is seeking a Pharmaceutical Maintenance Technician to support reliable operation of GMP manufacturing equipment in our biotechnology and pharmaceutical facilities. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, utilities, and support systems to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation. You will troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, support equipment calibrations and changeovers, and maintain accurate GMP documentation in maintenance systems.

Working closely with engineering, operations, and quality, you will help minimize downtime, support continuous improvement, and uphold Lonza's high standards for safety, quality, and patient-focused manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pharmaceutical production and utility equipment in a GMP environment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime
  • Execute equipment setups, changeovers, and adjustments to support manufacturing schedules
  • Support calibration and verification of process equipment and instruments
  • Maintain accurate GMP maintenance records in CMMS/EAM and complete required documentation
  • Follow safety procedures, including LOTO and safe work practices, to maintain a safe work environment
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing equipment
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and qualification support of new or upgraded equipment
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and Lonza standards for equipment and maintenance activities
