As a Composite Layup Technician
, you'll be a key member of our Composite Fabrication Team, helping build carbon-fiber components used in our award-winning aircraft. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in quality workmanship, and are interested in developing a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing.

This position requires no experience and is a great way to start your career at Epic.

Responsibilities

Prepare molds, tooling, and forms for composite fabrication
Measure, mark, and cut composite materials including carbon fiber tape, woven fabrics, honeycomb core, adhesives, and related materials
Lay up composite materials according to engineering specifications and work instructions
Vacuum bag composite assemblies for oven curing
Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support continuous improvement efforts and team objectives
Perform other duties as assigned

Required WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for the majority of the shift
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
Ability to lift materials and equipment as required

Compensation And Schedule

Day Shift

Monday Friday

6:45 a.m. 3:15 p.m.

Starting Pay: $22.00/hour

Afternoon Shift

Monday Thursday

3:30 p.m. 2:00 a.m.

Starting Pay: $23.00/hour (includes shift differential)

Training

A paid two-week training program is required for all new hires in Composites:

Monday Friday

7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
