As a Composite Layup Technician
, you'll be a key member of our Composite Fabrication Team, helping build carbon-fiber components used in our award-winning aircraft. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in quality workmanship, and are interested in developing a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing.

This position requires no experience and is a great way to start your career at Epic.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare molds, tooling, and forms for composite fabrication
  • Measure, mark, and cut composite materials including carbon fiber tape, woven fabrics, honeycomb core, adhesives, and related materials
  • Lay up composite materials according to engineering specifications and work instructions
  • Vacuum bag composite assemblies for oven curing
  • Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and team objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for the majority of the shift
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to lift materials and equipment as required
Compensation And Schedule

Day Shift

Monday Friday

6:45 a.m. 3:15 p.m.

Starting Pay: $22.00/hour

Afternoon Shift

Monday Thursday

3:30 p.m. 2:00 a.m.

Starting Pay: $23.00/hour (includes shift differential)

Training

A paid two-week training program is required for all new hires in Composites:

Monday Friday

7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
