Summit Health is seeking a Gynecology PA or NP who would like the opportunity to expand a thriving practice within a financially secure, physician‑driven, multispecialty setting. As an expansion of Summit Health's Gynecology Department, we are looking for an NP or PA (prior experience preferred) who is passionate about surgical assisting and providing full spectrum gynecologic care in an outpatient setting, including well woman’s exams, contraceptive procedures, and hormone therapy.
This position will provide surgical assisting services, pre‑ and post‑operative care, and full spectrum gynecologic care. After‑hours outpatient call may be a component of the position. The schedule is four days per week in Bend, Oregon with potential to expand to Redmond, Oregon. Prior surgical assisting experience is strongly preferred. Our team works closely with primary care and other medical specialties to provide excellent quality care to members of our community.
- Assist in gynecologic surgeries, including pre‑ and post‑operative care.
- Provide full spectrum gynecologic care in an outpatient setting (well woman’s exams, contraceptive procedures, hormone therapy).
- Participate in after‑hours outpatient call as required.
- Collaborate closely with primary care, hospitalists, surgeons, urologists, oncologists, and other specialties.
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with current state licensure.
- Prior experience in gynecology, preferably with surgical assisting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work four days per week, with potential for after‑hours call.
