Travel RN - Pediatric PACU

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pre Op/PACU position requiring Epic experience, ACLS & BLS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in ambulatory and PACU settings.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Pre Op unit handling both ambulatory/outpatient and inpatient patient populations,

• Experience with Phase I PACU and Phase II Recovery required in this role,

• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 5:45 AM - 3:15 PM,

• Weekends required per unit needs,

• Floating within scope may be required if not needed in PACU or as a sitter,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• EMR:
Epic (experience required),

Job Requirements

• Active OR RN license required,

• Active RN license; pending license accepted,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS,

• PALS preferred,

• Experience in ambulatory/outpatient, inpatient, Phase I PACU, and Phase II Recovery settings required,

• Epic EMR proficiency required,

• Proof of address required for consideration,

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted,

• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days for the duration of the 13-week assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted upfront,

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
